Front End Managers are responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service at the Front End, ensuring all customer service standards are met and customer service issues are resolved, ensuring that the overall appearance of the department meets company standards and guidelines, changing and updating shelf tags, handling audits for departments as needed, and protecting company assets. Front End Managers will plan, and work with the Assistant Front End Manager, Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks with ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures through proper handling of all transactions and corresponding documentation, such as refunds, check approval, employee discounts, price overrides, gift certificates, and other transactions that require supervisory assistance. Also, the Front End Manager is responsible for the presentation and merchandising of Front End displays. Front End Managers will ensure all new department associates receive proper training and tools to succeed. Front End Managers will also ensure a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction at all times by answering customer questions regarding services and products offered.
