About the Position:

The Fresh Market currently has an opening for an Email Marketing Content Coordinator in our Store Support Center (099). The Email Marketing Content Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day creation of email communication assets, overseeing each email communication campaign’s lifecycle, and executing communication strategies that drive customer retention and sales growth. Candidate must have working knowledge of email campaign set up and execution, as well as working knowledge of creative workflow systems such as Workfront. Responsibilities include the creation of customer-facing email communications, through Workfront, with a focus on the development of creative content per the monthly plan.

 

This position reports to the Email Marketing Content Manager.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with Director of Loyalty & Email Marketing, as well as Email Development, Merchandising, eCommerce, Local Store Marketing, and Loyalty teams to produce Guest email communications, including, but not limited to:
    • Daily emails supporting our Daily Deals
    • Stand Alone communications supporting Meal Solutions, New/Seasonal Products, and other corporate initiatives
  • Assist in maintenance of the Email Communications Calendar, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure updates and details to the monthly email content plan are captured and communicated with the Creative Team
  • Developing and communicating email content outlines for each email sent to guests with the Design Team
  • Coordinating Email Content cross-functional reviews and approvals through the Workfront creative review tool
  • Support the management of the Weekly Proofing Calendar to ensure that the Email Development Team receives necessary assets for on-time email building and deployment
  • Support the management of the Daily Design List for daily prioritization of Email Content needs
  • Collaborating with eCommerce to build and communicate the Weekly Collection Link document with the Email Development team
  • Support the development and implementation of Email Content Strategy to support Company and Departmental goals and objectives.
  • Participate in the weekly Email Communications Calendar Review with the Marketing Leadership Team.
  • Participate in and occassionally lead the review of the Email Marketing Content Plan during the cross-functional Weekly Ad Planning meeting.
  • Partner with Email Marketing Development Manager to coordinate the day-to-day sends and audience building (store lists, targeted/personalized content to specific cohorts of guests, etc.).
  • Continuously search for new customer engagement opportunities, including enhancing or adding data points to inform communication and personalization initiatives.
  • Email content management as needed outside of regular business hours (occasional evenings and weekends).

Qualifications:

At a minimum, what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • 1-3 years email marketing and project management experience including campaign management and marketing automation.
  • Proven ability to coordinate information and content with multiple stakeholders to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and possess the ability to execute with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication and providing direction to multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of InDesign to support minor email content edits
  • Experience in creative development workflow systems, I.e. Adobe Workfront
  • Experience in Retail Grocery or QSR's
